Who We Are

VISION

The vision of The Encounter Assembly is where people who have experienced brokenness can encounter the Lord Jesus Christ and be made whole. 

OUR PURPOSE

The Encounter Assembly exists so that people are functioning in their spiritual gifts, living in their purpose, fulfilling their life assignments, and no longer living in brokenness which is accomplished by the power of the Holy Spirit. This brings glory to God the Father and our Lord Jesus Christ

We believe that the Church of God is an organized organism that is living and is the governing body that Jesus ordained in the earth to re-present the King and the Kingdom of God to all even the heavenly places according to Ephesians 3:10-11 

to the intent that now the manifold wisdom of God might be made known by the church to the principalities and powers in the heavenly places, 11 according to the eternal purpose which He accomplished in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Pillar 1   PRAYER: It is necessary to maintain a relationship with Jesus   Christ as a part of His Church (Eph. 6:18

Pillar 2  RELATIONSHIP: It is necessary to have a personal relationship   with Jesus Christ as Lord and to have relationships with   others who believe in Christ and are becoming a part   of the global Church (Hebrews 11:6) 

Pillar 3  EVANGELISM: Necessary to share & spread the good news   of salvation to those we encounter through love and   respect of our fellow human family for the sake of the   Church 

(Gal.3:26-29; 2 Cor. 5:17-21)

Pillar 4  DISCIPLESHIP: Necessary to become a disciple of Jesus   Christ to fulfill the great commission given to us as Church   (Matt. 28:16-20)
